Today I have cooked each meal.  This is very exciting for me, because I am just learning how to fit preparing meals into my daily schedule.  Breakfast was bacon and biscuits.  Lunch was chicken and sausage gumbo and twice-baked potatoes.  I think tonight will be some sort of sandwiches, and maybe baked beans to go with them.  We are going to try to stop by the bakery on the way to church tonight.  I began planning the menu for the week this afternoon, but it's a  little tricky this week, because we are considering going to Natchez at the middle of the week, and Baton Rouge at the end of the week.  (For celebrating Mothers' Day.)  I am planning on making a certain thing for gifts for our mothers, but I cannot say what yet, b/c my Mother-in-law is Southernbelle, and I don't want to give away the suprize.  Also, I hope it all comes together. 

I have been slowly out-growing my clothes this past month.  Now I have almost completely out-grown everything.  I need to invest in some new clothes.  Hopefully I may be able to do that this week.  It's tricky, because 'maternity' clothes are still too big, but regular clothes are very tight around the middle. 

Exams are almost finished.  Wesley and I each only have one left.  His is literature, and mine is Spanish conversation & composition.  Me gusta mucho.  Campus is becoming more and more empty.  A week from tomorrow Wesley and I leave for the beach for almost a week.  Monday through Saturday.  I can hardly wait!

And the best news of all is.....I FINALLY have an appointment with a doctor!!!  Lord willing I'll be able to see the baby and see if they are a boy or a girl! :-) :-) :-)

Hi Sweetheart! I am thrilled to read your blog! I had no idea yall might be coming to see us this week. Hey, remember I'm at Candy's and might be here til Wednesday. I just told her you'd blogged and she was all excited and wants to read it. : ) I know the man of the house was happy with the meals you prepared him. ;o) I can't wait til we find out what that little grandbaby of mine is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy the food you made sure sounds yummy! So now that mothers day is finished you will have to let us know what you made. I hope you had a good holiday.
