Weekend

Last week was absolutely mad, driving around all over the place, and on Friday, girls had Stable Management rally where I also helped with preparation for Saturday's Pony Club Show. We then bathed ponies, cleaned tack and generally enjoyed the excitement of anticipation, and were up at 5 on Saturday, to plait, groom and prepare.

A long day ensued, which everyone enjoyed, and the girls came home happy, tired, and with lots of rosettes. I had taken care of ponies and children all day, and meanwhile forgotten to use suncream or wear a hat, so I got a horrendous sunburn. One would think, at my advanced age, I would have more sense. One would be wrong. So my face, neck, and top of head (praise God I do have very thick hair at least) are scarlet, burning, sore and painful.

Today was a special day at our little chapel as we were welcomed into membership this evening.  We were not members at our previous church, for various complicated reasons, but are so happy to be fully a part of this tiny but faithful fellowship.

No photos to share of either of these special days! When will I remember to photograph things?!

Since we are daydreaming about visiting, someday I'd love to tag along on one of your Pony Club events too. Congratulations to H & Boo on their ribbons!!! Sometime, as if you are not already busy enough, you will have to photo journal your Pony Club day so I can live vicariously through you and see all you do. I think that would be great fun! Advanced years - haha!

Congratulations & (((Hugs))) on your new church membership. We may be doing that this summer at our new church as well - Jeff hates having to get up in front of church to do such, but he'll survive I'm sure (one would hope). We are also hoping that the girls can get baptized this summer by our new pastor. Stay tuned. lol

Blessings,
PlainJane

HI jackie,

It's good to hear from you. We're doing good just super busy with 4 lil ones and my boys are autisitc so that makes things even busier. Keep in touch. My e-mail is keeperofthehome4@aol.com . I'm on a group with a bunch from Peggy's old list.
