Here's a thing!

I was talking to my friend Ali, today (and  I linked to your blog, so you'll just HAVE to post !!!) and I was saying, I wish I would keep up with my blog, because you know, when I look back, I see stuff there I would have forgotten, and it's wonderful to have it all there.

After the call was over, I realised, I hadn't done this in such a long while. So I opened up my blog account and took a stroll down memory lane! I discovered that my two year blogaversary is just a week away! And spent a happy half hour, browsing around  my own words of wisdom!!!!

If you have been blogging awhile, and you haven't taken such a tour, can I recommend it? What fun it is to look back into your own past, in your own words. Humbling and comforting all at once.

With a resolution to keep on blogging, even if I have to write rubbish to get started!!! Goodnight!

Ah HA!
Just when I'd almost given up checking your blog. {g}

Glad you're going to post more often.

LOL, I even like reading your rubbish!

Thanks for your prayers! I'm feeling much better today, almost normal, that is if I ever was normal. Have a good one. It's HOT, HOT, HOT here. Which of course mean we will probably have severe weather again tonight.

Have a good week!
Blessings,
Jane

Saturday, July 19, 2008 - Hello Jackie!

I hear ya Jackie,

I felt as though for a couple of months though, my attitude was getting a bit blah. So I've revamped slightly for a bit and am working on getting back into the swing of things. Especially with this rediculous election coming up in November here in the U.S. and neither candidate can handle the job. Whats a citizen to do when our government is incapable to manage anything other than game playing and arguing.

Anyways, aside from the norm in my own life (recipes, how am I doing, etc), I've set out to add some patriotic motivation with hopes some kind of third party will be miraculousely appointed by God himself. I've been doing nothing more than asking God for HIS will.

So glad to see your updates dear friend.

Love In Christ,

Rebekah

Oh, P.S. I've started our first mini garden here. What can I do to stop the woodchucks from eating my lettuce to smitherines? He's sneaky and now I only have lettuce stumps.Haha
