Each lady enjoyed a spa treatment today. I made a mixture of mineral oil and lavender essential oil. I spooned out a tablespoon of the mineral oil mixture and then spooned a teaspoon of sugar into their hands. I instructed them to rub it into the fronts and backs of their hands. They then washed with some soap and I gave them some sweet pea scented hand lotion. They seemed to really enjoy that. I also gave them a shower gel and puff to take home. They were very appreciative. I really love making others feel good.
For lunch we had tuna salad and chicken salad on my homemade herbed bread. I had leaf lettuce and cheese for them to add to their bread. We had deviled eggs and a mexican dip with tortillas. For dessert I made the ice cream cake dessert and we sipped on lemonade as our beverage.
The conversation was naturally about our little ones but I was able to give a testimony about how God has changed my life. I also love any opportunity to share God with others. I invited them to a Bible Study I'm going to host here in two weeks. This morning we were strangers and this afternoons friends. How can that happen? Only by God....................
