It is amazing to me how much you are in tune with your family. My sister is hurting due to a break up with her Fiance. She is so heart broken and all I can do it cry with her, pray for her, and be angry at the man who caused the pain. I have been asking God to help in this by giving us wisdom and control of our tongues. My whole family is feeling this pain that she is dealing with. The hardest part for me, is I've have been there. Exactly. I know the pain of rejection and its so easy, being here in hindsight, to see the blessing God can give through our trials. But wow, it is so hard to help someone hurting know that there is Someone who can fix it all. I just ask that you pray for her. Pray that she will have courage to give this burden to Him. Pray for her comfort. Pray for her wisdom in the decisions to come. Pray for her heart, for as she describes a pain she was having in the right side of her chest as a shard of her heart (from being broken) piercing her muscle. Its truly a sad image, knowing the physical pain, not just the mental pain she is experiencing. Pray that God will help her to mourn properly and know that while she does this, He is there for her and loves her more than a human ever could. The one thing that keeps coming back to me is the little song that our children sing at church... " My God is so BIG, so STRONG and so MIGHTY, there's nothing my God cannot do!" What a blessing it is to know that there isn't one thing in the world that stumps God, not one thing He cannot do!!
