Great homeschool resources

    Most of us here have probably heard about The Old Schoolhouse Magazine (TOS) and The brand spanking new Schoolhouse Planner they offer, but I'm sure not everyone has!
  First we'll talk about The Schoolhouse Planner.  I admit I wasn't big on lists and planning very much, but this planner is so fantastic!  It has so much to offer a home schooling family, whether you are new to home schooling or are an old pro!  Some of the features are:
* Several calendar formats (yearly, monthly)
* Forms to aid you in planning your curriculum
* Financial planning forms
* A schedule for reading the Bible through the year!
* Menu-planning, food, and grocery log sheets
  I loved being able to sit down and plan out some of our schooling, and the kids really got into helping plan our menus!  Next month, we will be a family of six, and now I have a great place to keep up with appointments.  It felt good to sit down and have somewhere to write down out home schooling goals for the year. Being such a large family living on 1 income, the financial planning aids are really going to come into play for us.  Why not hop over  here and check out this awesome planner!

  Next up, we're going to talk about The Old Schoolhouse Magazine Digital Edition!  I love love love reading magazines, especially ones about home schooling!  TOS magazine has so many wonderful articles and resources in its pages, you'll be like a kid in the candy store!  What's more, you don't have to wait on the Post Office to bring your magazine to you, when you subscribe to the Digital Edition, you get it as soon as it's available right into your inbox!  Plus there is a substantial savings over the print edition.  I don't know about you but I love saving money!
  Do you want to know what my favorite thing is about the digital magazine is?  Well I will tell you .  In TOS magazine there are bunches and bunches of informative and fun home schooling links.  Instead of having to type in each link by yourself, all you do is click the link you want to visit!  That's it!  No more searching around for your paper copy to check out a fabulous website, it's all right here at your fingertips!  What more could you ask for?!  I suggest you head on over to TOS and subscribe today, because you will not be sorry!  You can also view an issue from Summer 2007 and play around with the magazine!

Have a great day!
Blessings,

~*Becca*~
