I forgot to take a picture of my purchase today before sitting down to blog it, but here's how it worked out. There is a special offer this week at Walgreens to earn $20 in Registrar Rewards. Buy 9 selected items from pages 5, 28 and 29 of this week's circular and get TWO $10 rewards. First, I bought four Cascades at $2/5.00 (• Powder or Gel, 45 oz. or • 12 pack Action Pacs).
Then, there were some good Cover Girl coupons in today's paper and Cover Girl make-up is B1G1 50% off. So, I bought 2 mascaras ($4.99 & $2.50), 2 Cheekers blushes ($3.99 and $2) and got a free blush ($7.29). The coupons that I used were $2.50 off 2 items, two $1 off an item, and a free blush for buying 3 Cover Girl products.
I had enough money on my gift card from March's purchases to cover the total due, so there was nothing out of pocket for me today. I got over $41 worth of merchandise and now have TWO $10 rewards to spend in the future! Since I used $21.88 that was on my card and earned $20, I about broke even. But, even if you have to spend the money (because you don't have it on a gift card), you'll be getting most of it back when you earn the RRs.
There is a razor , the Venus Embrace- retail $9.99, that is giving a $6 RR, too -PLUS- there is a $4 coupon in today's paper. Essentially, that makes this razor free, but my Walgreens was out of them.

They are builing a brand new Walgreens in a nearby town (25 miles away), and I am so excited!!! I can't wait to get some of the great buys everyone talks about here!
