If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.

A poor torn heart, a tattered heart,
That sat it down to rest,
Nor noticed that the ebbing day
Flowed silver to the west,
Nor noticed night did soft descend
Nor constellation burn,
Intent upon the vision
Of latitudes unknown.

The angels, happening that way,
This dusty heart espied;
Tenderly took it up from toil
And carried it to God.
There,—sandals for the barefoot;
There,—gathered from the gales,
Do the blue havens by the hand
Lead the wandering sails.

Be True to Yourself

With 2006 now gone and as we start 2007 I have been thinking about all the things I have been planning and never doing.  I have made just one promise for myself this year.  That is to be True to MYSELF!  I can say I will change this or that but those will never happen if they aren't me and if God doesn't want those changes.  I have to remain faithful to who I am and what I believe.  I can't change to make someone happy or to fit someone's ideas of what I should be like.  I can only be as God has created me and the only changes that will ever happen are the ones that He changes!

I pray that each of you will make this promise to yourselves as well.  Be true to yourself!!!

God bless you during the coming year,

Angela

I made this for my sister and one with a lace ruffle for my mom in law.

It was fun and I want to make some for myself.

Goals for 2007

I have my goals for the new year and I am ready for it to start!

  1. Maintain my home better by keeping it cleaner.
  2. Be more consistant with dealing with my boys.
  3. Cook more healthful meals.
  4. Save money for home improvement projects and emergancies.

That should be enough to keep me busy this year!

Angie

Merry Christmas

I hope each of you have a Merry Christmas.  May God bless each of you during the coming year.  I will be starting to write again after the first of the year.  I have sorely neglected this blog and mean to fix that!  I have deleted all the old post and will start from sratch with areas of devotions, cooking, sewing, cleaning, poetry, kids and just talking about the daily things.  I hope you will come and visit me often and see the changes that will be taking place.  Until then have a wonderful time with you family and friends during this time of celebrating our Saviours birth!

Merry Chirstmas!!

Angie
