A Bloomin Time!

Posted in Gorgeous!
Photobucket

I got a thing for pretty flowers. I took these throughout the last week from around the homestead here. I thought I would let y'all guess what these flowers are.

Do you know the names of those flowers? :)

One of them is my Mama's favorite, one of them is my favorite, one of them is just a wildflower, and one of them was planted.

Can you guess which flower goes to which of those questions?

Aren't those flowers just really pretty? Seeing such beautiful just puts me in awe of God and His glory. To think that He made those beautiful flowers is just amazing. What an awesome God we serve!

Summer is fading here in Indiana. :( It is get dark sooner, and we have had a really cool August. I saw today that The Farmer's Almanac predicts that we will have a colder than usual winter! :O I am not looking forward to that. I wish summer would just stay forever! I hope that our flowers will bloom a few more times before winter.

I have been going with Jocelyn
down to check on the surprise goaties at night. Why can't they stay little goaties and not get bigger and become the pains they do? Baby goaties are cutesie!
Jocelyn won't let me name the goaties... I don't know why. :P My names suit those goaties much better. Jocelyn named them: Flopsy, Rawhide, Broken Arrow, Squat, and Chase.
I would have named them: Peridot, Sardonyx, Beau, Lil Bro, and Carnivoire. The first two are named after the birthstones of August. Beau's mama is called Bella, Lil Bro is the runt and is tiny, and Carnivoire eats me everytime I go down there. :D

What are things going on around your homestead? Any flowers blooming? How is the weather?
Prayers and Blessings,

Majestic

Posted in Gorgeous!
I was born in New Mexico. It is a beautiful place because the backdrop for the city is the Organ Mountains. I loved looking at those mountains. I would just stare at them in awe, because they were so majestic and showed me the handiwork of God. I lived in New Mexico about 8years of my life, so I remember the mountains. About 10 years ago, we moved to Indiana. As you know there are no mountains in Indiana. I was little enough not to notice the drastic difference between NM and IN, but I do notice the mountains missing sometimes.
Back April, I went outside to do something and saw the neatest thing!

Now doesn't that look like mountains almost? When I walked outside and saw that I was like, Wow! I thought it was so neat!

The clouds were HUGE! It was so beautiful!

I thought this one really looked like mountains. White snow capped mountains. :)

So it kinda made me sad because it has been 3 years since I have been to NM and seen the Organ Mountains, but I was happy that the clouds reminded me of them!
Those clouds were so beautiful and majestic that it made me think of God and his beauty and majesty.
David the Psalmist said this about the Lord and clouds:
Psalm 36:5
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
Psalm 57:10

For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.

We can look forward to these things that the clouds will bring!
Mark 13:26
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Well, I am excited because I will get to see the Organ Mountains soon because we are going on vacation to NM! When y'all see mountains next time, remember the Lord and His majesty!
Love, Blessings and Prayers As Always,

F

How Great Are His Works

Posted in Gorgeous!
When the Queen Bee, Spritti, came up for a visit at the end of April, we went out to eat at Chipotle's in Fort Wayne. Chipotle's is Sprittibee's most favorite restaurant. It is pretty good. They had some really good food. I loved how all the flavors offset each other so you were able to taste all of them, and they didn't contradict. Very good!
When we finished eating, we went outside for a photoshoot before Spritti and family left to go home, and they had the following flowers in front of Chipotle's.

I thought they were really beautiful. Mom says they are tulips, but I am not sure what breed of tulips they are.
I really like tulips! They are a simple, yet beautiful flower that reflects true beauty.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures of God's handiwork. He is an amazing Creator!
Psalm 92:5
O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
Be Blessed As Always,

Gorgeous!

Posted in Gorgeous!
I have kinda struggled with what to do with this blog. When I got it, it was mainly supposed to be about stuff about My Girls, but since I sold them, I have had a hard time deciding what I want to do with it.
I have figured out what I want to do with it! I am going to mainly post pictures on it. I will add the occasional recipes, but I am going to turn this into a photo blog.

So...  have a real treat today! Here in Indiana, we have had some GLORIOUS weather. It has been really awesome.
Our flowers have started blooming and they are gorgeous.

I have found the perfect verse for this entry. This is exactly what I want and I am so thankful for the promise of spring!
Song of Solomon 2:11-12
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
Here is a pink hyacinth. These flowers smell so wonderful and are so beautiful! Not to mention they are pink. ;)

Here are some yellow daffodils. This picture is quite neat. I love it that I got the sun in them!

So I hope you will join in me in a photographic journey. I really do enjoy taking pictures. I usually take the camera with me where ever I go, so hopefully I will have quite a few pictures to keep up this blog.
And I will be changing the template too, so bear with me as I do that.
Be Blessed!!
As Always,
