Finally finished

Today, in spite of feeling "chilled" all afternoon, I finally was able to finish the three scarfs I was making for my three grandaughters.  They were just garter stitch with doubled yarns of worsted and varigated eyelash.  They came out really cute though.  One was a teal with eyelash blended in in teal, lime, and lavender.  The other two were done with doubled yarns of worsted and eyelash. The eyelash had hot pink, red, and lavendar. They were so cute and soft and the girls loved them.  Those projects have held me back forever.  I seem to be the type that becomes frozen in time if I have something "on the burner" until that something gets done, and then I can move on.  I wish I wasn't that way.  It causes alot of stress.  I think I'll go to bed with a good book and shake this sick feeling off. Hope I'm not starting a flare of my lupus.  Good night.

WELCOME!!

Hi!  I'm new at this but intend to get pretty good at it and to build my site as time goes on.  I need this and I need you all.  With all of my interests we should be able to find something in common.  I've had a rough day, for me.  It started out without alot of pain in spite of sleeping fairly well last night.  I made a cup of coffee and sat in front of my computer, reading my exorbitant amount of email.  It's rediculous for most people but it keeps me going.  I couldn't bother Lori(my daughter with 2 kids with autism and a 6 month old with "issues"), because she was in the middle of therapies and home school.  My other daughter was at work and my son had left for the day. I intended to pour over some knitting patterns and start a new project even though I have 3 scarfs for the grandgirls that have to be finished off with fringe and assorted other things.  I'm just an average knitter but I strive to  be better.  I cast on with the continental method but I knit backwards!  Years ago a lady at my brother's ballgame saw me getting wrestless(I was 10) and taught me to cast on.  I could do that but my stitches seemed so tight(what did I know?), that I gave up and started again last fall at 52.  I'm extremely arthritic and it seems to help my hands and my nerves.  Anyway, I never got around to it.  I'm always finding new sites I'm interested in and the time just flies.  As soon as I learn how to add things to these blogs I'll list them.  Anyway, here I sit at 7;12 PM, feeling like climbing in bed and reading all of my pattern books, cookbooks, and how to books.  I wake up all night though so who knows when I'll post next.  I'll start to include pics of my projects as soon as I know how to put them on here.  Bye for now and God Bless
