It's done!

Posted in Daily Farm Life

I spent this last week cleaning and decluttering our home and lives...WOW! Did we get rid of things...in our 'storage room' downstairs I had 12 huge boxes full of things I had never unpacked when I moved here....the boxes were so big that when I stood next to them they came to my chest(I am 5'4") and they were about 3 ft across...I now only have 4 of those...yes 4...so that tells you how much I got rid of...I am FREEEEEE! I was so tired of the clutter in and around us...we had to much 'stuff'..."Stuff" can weigh you down in so many ways...we can't take our 'stuff' with us when we leave this world, and it certainly does not make us more important than someone else...its just material possessions...I need a home that is functional and allows me to make the best of my time, when you have 'stuff' everywhere it can hinder time spent cleaning....Living on a farm, even a small one take a lot of time to operate correctly...I was spending more time cleaning our 'stuff and around our "stuff' than doing other things that needed done so I took care of that....and what a blessing it has been...our home looks so  nice and clean!! WoooHoooo!

Our baby chicks should be arriving around the 27th....Hubby is getting ready to build a nice wooden brood box, will post picks when he completes it...he is such a handy man...We were supposed to pick up our new rabbits yesterday evening, but like me the lady was busy so we both decided Saturday would be the best for all involved...this way I also have more time to get them settled into their new home...Will post pics when I get them home and settled in...

Gotta run, have a house showing here in a bit!

Congrats on a completed job Kris. I'm checking daily for the arrival of the bunnies ;) I'm so glad you've gotten all that stuff out of your way, persistence surely pays off, doesn't it?

Have a Blessed Day!

Homesteading Friend(s)Now Visiting

This blog reflects our familys faith, convictions, trials, growth and the victories we experience as we travel the straight and narrow path set before us by our Lord and Savior and we strive to become more and more dependant on the Lord and less on our world system. I hope you enjoy your stay here with me.
