Thank God I'm a Country Boy... -

We had our first accumulating snow yesterday. We only had about an inch, but it was so nice and really put me in the Christmas spirit. The roads quickly froze up as temperatures fell into the teens. Accidents were occuring everywhere and many roads actually closed down for a time, all over the infamous black ice. Thankfully there were no deaths that I heard of, but there were lots of injuries. While stuck at home, I decided to make cookies. I started a batch of Soft Sugar Cookies when I realized I was completley out of vanilla. So, they didn't quite turn out, they were alittle bland, but, oh well, it was still fun making them. I was supposed to babysit today, but since the roads are icey my grandmother said she'd do it-- she lives next door to my sister. Well, better be going..
