Thank God I'm a Country Boy... -

Yesterday was my "nephew's" birthday dinner at Donna's house. We all ordered Chinese. I'm not much of a Chinese eater, so I just got Sweet & Sour Chicken, which is basically chicken nuggets. haha! Corey turned 16. So now he's taking driver's Ed. When I got my license, it wasn't required, but it is for him. Afterwards, T and I went to visit my grandparents. Unfortunatly my grandfather was asleep already when we got there, so we didn't get to see him, but we did get to see my grandmother. She said something that upset me though. Remember, I'm flying for the first time on Friday. She said, "I'll watch on the news for any plane crashes so I know if you got there ok." Well my word, nothing could have scared me more! She didn't mean it to be mean in any way, I think it just slipped out. Oh well, I'm sure we'll be fine. I borrowed a suit jacket from my grandfather for dinner at Mackinac Island. I also borrowed a carryon bag. I have one of my own, but I thought my grandmother's was nicer. We'll see. Well, tonight's dinner at my parent's.
