Thank God I'm a Country Boy...

Well, I'm home from the Surgery Center.   I had my tooth extracted.  I had to go through alot just for that one tooth.  Physical, EKG, Vision Test, Blood Work, etc.  So, today was the day.  I was very nervous, which brought my blood pressure up to 168/88.  My heart rate was high as well.  I guess that's to be expected.  I was afraid that they wouldn't want to do the procedure because of that.. I really wanted to just get it over with.  It took the nurse 25 minutes to find a vein when giving me my IV.  Then I waited for about an hour before it was time for me to go to the surgery room.  I barely remember anything, which is a good thing.  My mother was there with me, thank God.  When it was all over, they had my mother pull around front so that I could get into the car without having to walk far.  I was still pretty out of it.  Well, all is well.  God granted me peace and safety throughout the whole thing.  :)
