Thank God I'm a Country Boy...

About Me:

My name is Jason and I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in "The Cove", a group of small towns surrounded my the Allegheny Mountains in South Central Pennsylvania. I now live in Hollidaysburg, PA, population 5,500. I guess since I live "in town" now, I would be considered an "urban homesteader", although I still travel to "The Cove" daily where I keep a garden and will soon have chickens. I'm interested in all apsects of homesteading, and love living a "simple life".

Today, was another unusually mild January day.  We reached 61 degrees.  But, it appears more winterlike conditions will appear later this week.  I ordered a Lehman's catalog today, and can't wait for it to arrive.  I visited with my sister awhile this morning, she now only has 9 weeks left in her pregancy.  I'm so excited to be an uncle!  Well, I have dinner dishes waiting to be washed, and a few things need done around the house, must be going...
