Thank God I'm a Country Boy...

There was a rather strong storm that swept through the area last night.  There is alot of flattened corn fields out in "The Cove".  And a huge branch from this ancient pear tree blew off, too.  That was at my sister's house.  I'm glad the storm didn't hit my house or my Weeping Cherry tree would probably have snapped off.  My grandmother got 1.25'' of rain in twenty minutes.  That's alot of rain for twenty minutes!  Well, I tried to spend as much time today with my sister as I could because I'll be lonely tomorrow, there is a huge pig roast/corn boil at my father's friend's house.  There will be probably 100 people there, I'd imagine.  And I don't know the majority of them.  So, I'd feel alittle awkward.  Oh, well.  Everyone will be there but me, but I'll survive, it's just one night after all.
