Thank God I'm a Country Boy...

Yesterday was so very hot and humid.  It was uncomfortable.  T and I went to the health food store to get a present for Rob for this 45th birthday.  We ended up buying him organic herbal shaving cream and soap.  We also got him horse treats and a feed scoop at the western shoppe next door.   He loved his gifts very much.  So we were at Rob's just before 6:30pm.  There were about thirty or thirty five people there.  It was nice, I knew most of the people.  We had a fire in the firepit, tiki torches lit, pool lights on, etc. it was such a nice atmosphere.  Today's the 4th of July, Independence Day.  I'm a huge firework fan, and it looks like I'll have the best seat in the county.  T's family owns Lakemont Park, an amusement park here in my area.  The park will be closed tonight, but since T's mother has keys, were going in to have a front row seat of both the Curve (or local baseball team) fireworks, and the regular ones they set off.  It should be spectacular!!  Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July.
