Thank God I'm a Country Boy...

Well, I woke up this morning to see that we had frost.  First frost in two weeks, which is pretty unusual for a Pennsylvania winter.  But, by afternoon, it was in the mid 60's.  YAY!  Too bad it won't last -- they're calling for snow showers tomorrow with temps in the 20's and  high winds.  Not a very nice day.  But back to today... I came out to the cove to visit my grandmother and my sister.  Once out here, I found out that my grandmother wasn't home, which is very rare.  She barely ever leaves the house unless she's at a yard sale. So I just stayed with my sister for awhile.  I took her to get some blood testing done and to rent a video for her and her soon to be hubby to watch tonight.  Oh, and I finally got a key to my mom's farmhouse.  She just got duplicates made.  She's so excited to move over there.  She's just so cute when she's happy.  I'm used to my mom being overworked and tired.  I'm just so thankful that she has this opportunity to live out her dream of living in an old country farmhouse.  And, lucky for me, my dad said I could keep some chickens over there!  How nice :)  Well, I must be going....

So happy for your mother! You must be a little ahead of us in the weather department. I am in SE PA and we are supposed to get that on Sunday (if you can go by www.weather.com LOL)
