Thank God I'm a Country Boy... -

Today was a nice day. I was up pretty late last night, so I got to sleep in a bit. I got up and got dressed and ready to go over to the farmhouse to take care of my girls. When I got there, my mother asked me if I'd go along with her to Wal-Mart to do some grocery shopping and to look for a Mother's Day gift for each of my grandmothers. Ended up we couldn't find anything we wanted there -- the flowers were really picked over, so we went to a place called Bridenbaugh's and we bought three hanging baskets and one potted plant. My mother is keeping two of the hanging baskets and giving my Grandma L. the potted plant and my Grandma B. the one hanging basket. My mother's farmhouse is looking so nice. It was originally a beautiful farmhouse that was left go and it started falling apart. It was empty for like thirty years and then it was used as an office for a forester. There was no shower or bathtub in the house, just a toilet. So when my parent's bought it, they had alot of work to do. It looks so nice with the flowers around the house, trees planted, tin roof painted, and the siding power washed... and of course with my chicken coop nest to it :) Well, to all the mothers out there, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! I must be going...
