Congratulations Jason, on being the blogger of the week. I am glad your dad is feeling better there is nothing worse than being laid up with a bad back. Oh here is a hint, when the baby gets really crying, try a walk in the stroller. It just may help.

try using a baby sling/wrap... It calms down babies like nothing, to be so close to their caregivers. Try to find a sling that keeps her facing you. My favorite is a Storchenwiege, but those are kind of expensive. Here's a great link to talk about different wraps:

the best slings/wraps allow you to go about your daily chores and she gets to just be close and watch what you are doing and go to sleep if she wants. hope things get better for you, and her.
