Thank God I'm a Country Boy...

Today was a good day.  I woke up at 9am to go with my mom, Aunt Cathy, and Bobby to The Columns in Altoona.  We went to view the reception hall before we gave a "yes" to renting it for Jess' reception. It was so beautiful.. and ornate..  There were marble floors and murals on the walls.  I can't wait for the family to see it!  When I got home I made homemade Honey Oatmeal bread, but I must say, it didn't quite turn out how I thought it would have.   I think T might eat some of it but I don't think I will.  Tomorrow I will make regular white or whole wheat bread.  I then drove out to my parent's house to visit with my sister.  When I got there, my mom and dad were having a huge argument.  So, being the mediator at usual, I had to go talk to them.  My mom was furious so I didn't even attempt to talk with her, I went straight to my dad.  Boy was he agry, too.  But, after some of my magic, everything was ok.  :)

This is my first visit to your blog. I like the title. They played that music at my son's deb ball two years ago in May. I really enjoyed it. It was kind of a boys dance just for them I think. My son recently had moved from a town of 20,000 so didn't really think of himself as a country boy but had fun anyway. He is nearly 18.
