Hidden In My Heart...

The Lord's Prayer -

Matthew 6:7-13
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

My Day Yesterday, with a Trip to the Dentist to go Along with it!
Friday, August 10, 2007

Posted in About Me

Yesterday was a long day. Dad woke us up at 6:40am. It was raining when we got up. The sky was overcast and gray. I really felt like staying in bed. Mom and Dad have wanted everyone to get up early, and since we stayed up late the night before, Amanda, Jocelyn and I were tired. Jocelyn didn't get up with us. Dad left around 6:50am to go to work. Amanda laid down on the couch, and I put a pot of coffee on.

Then Eric went down to the barn and filled the chicks' food and water. Amanda laid on the couch for two hours. Mom got up and went down to the barn after Eric told her that the top stall door for the chicks' stall broke off. The hinge was old, and so it just came off. Luckily, it had stopped raining, and there wasn't any wind. So they went down and looked at it. They were down there for about an hour, then Jocelyn got up. She went down and fed the goats, got them milked and came back up. Amanda had gone down when she did to feed the horses.

While they were down in the barn, I made fried potatoes for breakfast. We didn't have any eggs, so that was our breakfast. I had a bowl of yogurt too. After the potatoes were done, Queen LucyLillie woke up, and I had to hold her until Mom came up from the barn.

Mom wanted to lay down because she had gone to bed so late. I had to hold Queen LucyLillie up in the attic room while Mom slept. Queen LucyLillie got fussy, so I  had to give her to Mom. She laid down with Mom, and I went to my room to read. I read Archimedes and the Door of Science. Then I couldn't keep my eyes open, and so I fell asleep.

I woke up at around 2:00pm. Well, not really. Eric and Hannah kept coming in and asking me to do things, so I didn't get a lot of rest. Then when I did get up, Hannah had her tea set out and wanted me to play with her. I went to the bathroom and brushed my hair. I got a pickle and cut it up. Then Hannah got some tea, and we went upstairs. We had a wonderful time of eating pickles and drinking plain tea from these little teacups. We were then called downstairs, and Amanda gave Queen LucyLillie to me, and I played with.

Dad got home around 2:45, and I had to get ready to go to the dentist. My appointment was at 3:20 and we made it in time. I got my teeth cleaned, and Jocelyn got her cavities taken care of. I have to go back two more time to get mine done. I guess you guessed I have a lot of cavities? I do...sadly... I have, uh, several! I know, I know, just don't want you to break your jaw while it drops to the floor! Then you'll have to go to the dentist! JK.

My appointments are on the 16th of this month, and then my next appointment is on the 21st of February. So I have to go in six days, and another time to be scheduled. Then in six months to get my teeth cleaned again. But Dad may change the appointments, since he tries to schedule them when he's off. So be praying that I won't have to go any more times after those two appointments.

And then the usual... staying up until 2am with Jocelyn while Mom and Amanda went to town to upload some things for school. Then Dad got me up at 6:40am again this morning, but I fell asleep on the couch while Eric was in the shower. I was going to take one, but he got it first!

Thanks for reading this long post! I hope you enjoyed reading about my life!

Hee hee , you are too funny. I like the comment about the jaw dropping to the floor and then we will have to go to the dentist. That was cute. My son is 19 and he has no cavaties, never in his life. My daughter is 21 and she had a couple. Everyone envies my son. I am praying that you won't have to go back after your next appts.
My last name is Dunne pronounced Done. I have had people call me Dune. Hahahaha. You have a blessed day.
