Hidden In My Heart...

The Lord's Prayer -

Matthew 6:7-13
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Posted in Pictures of Our Homestead

I said I would post some pictures of what we have in our garden, so here they are!

This is the only row of Okra we have.

 Ocra.jpg

We only have one row of Zucchini too:

We have two and a half rows of peppers. Here are the Banana Peppers:

And this one, the sun made it purple:

These are Round Peppers:

This is a Tai Hot Pepper plant:

Can you see the little read pepper in the middle?

Here's a close-up for you:

Now, to the other side of the garden , across from the Peppers, is our Pole Beans:

Here are our Lima Beans:

We have Bok Choi growing with our Lima Beans, and we didn't even plant it there:

Here is a cluster of Spinach:

This row of Tomatoes is behind the Spinach:

We need to put the cattle fencing back up for them to climb on. Speaking of fencing, I will posting pictures of the wooden fence we put up soon!

It has these Leeks at the front of the row:

Our two kinds of Lettuce:

I got some on Sunday night and put it in the fridge. It felt so good to go out there and pick the food we grew ourselves!

Mom and Eric planted Potato seeds, and they are already growing:

We only have one row of Broccoli:

In the same row as the Broccoli, we have Brussell Sprouts:

These Tomatoes are at the end of our garden:

They are Cherries:

This Tomato is still green:

All right, that's enough garden pictures for now! Was that enough for you all? I hope so! The next pictures I'll be posting will be of the Horses and the Bunnies. And... we got our chicks from the feed store a few hours ago! I was very excited when we got them! I think there's about 60 more or less in there. We have them in a big box in the garage, with a heat lamp, waterer, feeder, and thermometer. I will post some pictures of them with the next pictures I post, be on the lookout!

For some reason, none of your pictures show up on my computer. But that is not unusual. Most people's pictures don't show up. Wish they did, because I'd love to see your garden.

We have zucchini, yellow squash, basil, and green onions doing very well right now. There are some tiny cucumbers on the vine, as well as lots of green tomatoes. My beets are looking good too. But I didn't have much luck with sugar snap peas or green beans....I think it is a soil issue.

I noticed you added me to your friends list. I am adding you to mine as well.

Blessings on your day!

I can see your pictures!!!! What a wonderful looking garden! My lettuce and spinach is all gone by now - the heat took care of it, between bouts of rain.

And I tag you!!!! With the 8 things tagger-thingy.
