The Lord's Prayer -

Matthew 6:7-13
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

About Our Garden

Posted in HomeSteading - Gardening

I thought I'd post about our garden this time. I haven't posted about it yet, so here is an entry about it!

Here are the things we have in our garden:
Tomatoes
Beans
Lima Beans
Two different kinds of Lettuce
Spinach
Potatoes
Banana Peppers
A lot of different other kinds of Peppers
Zuccini
Orcra
Cucumbers
Brocoli
Eggplant
Onions, they're really Leeks!

I think we may have some more stuff but I can't think of any right now. Our garden is still growing because we have not planted some stuff that needs planting. There is weeding that needs to be done too. Our garden is large and is going to be larger still!

I have some pictures I wil be posting next time, so be on the lookout for them!

Please stop over at the Milk and Honey Tea House to read all about the Suarezs' coming up!

Rachel

I hope you have enjoyed reading the thoughts of a thirteen-year-old girl from the country."You can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens you!" Philippians 4:13

Sounds like your garden is nice & big! My garden has been underwater quite a bit lately - so much rain. My squash is drowning! I only have two little squashes, one of each kind. I have a feeling I should have lots of squash, but oh, well.

My tomatoes are doing great, though!!! I've had 4 ripen already!

Wow, your garden does sound big!! We just have the basic corn, beans, squash, tomatoes, peas, &c. But, we get them in pretty large quantities.

Rachel, I just lost all of my corn in a wind storm the other day. :( I have 4 stalks still standing out of probably 80!!! It looks like it's been trampled.

God knows best . . . maybe it will come back to life??
