Hidden In My Heart...

The Lord's Prayer -

Matthew 6:7-13
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

"I Left The What OPEN?!"
Saturday, June 30, 2007

Posted in Daisy, My Hymalayan Rabbit

Ok, I was cleaning out the dropping pan from under the rabbits' cage today, I took it out and cleaned it, then I put it back and I opened the door to look at them. I decided I would get them some clover to munch on, so I went outside to get it.

I had a handful of clover and was heading back toward the house. Eric was coming out of the house, and he came over to me and said, "You almost let the rabbits' loose! YOU LEFT THE DOOR ON THE CAGE OPEN!"

"I left the what open?!"
"The DOOR, and Carrots was sitting right outside the door on the TABLE!" I ran in house and Eric had shut the door, thank the Lord!

I opened the door a second time and put the clover in, and I shut the door that time. It was very scary to think I could've let them loose and not been able to find them, but the Lord was very gracious to show me how careless I can be. He doesn't want to just punish you for those kinds of things, He wants to show them to you so you can correct them and not be careless or unkind to someone.

It's like the children of Israel. He had to correct them and correct them until they just wouldn't listen to Him anymore. Those who did not want to listen to the Lord, He destroyed, and if we do not listen to Him, we are in BIG TROUBLE! He gives us the choice of obeying or not obeying the voice of our parents wo he puts over us to guide and protect us. We need to listen to the intructions that are given to us by our parents.

I am still learning about some things, and I will continue to learn all my life, but somethings I can change now and not wait to change them. Thank you, Lord, for showing your grace and not punishing me for being careless, and letting the rabbits get out! I will make sure to shut the door from now on, and WILL not leave it open again (hopefully!)

Oh, yes, the Suarezs' are coming up again TODAY! I am so HAPPY! I can't wait to see them again! Did everyone know they are expecting again? Well, they are!

Rachel

Yes, I need to make a new post. I enjoyed this one of yours. :-)

I want to hear more about that 5-rail fence. How much does it fence in? Do you have any pictures of it yet? It sounds really interesting to me because I want to get a good fence.
