Monday officially begins my week of baking for the Christmas holidays. I just got through putting some meat in the dehydrator to begin making batches of beef jerky. My dad loves this and it will be his present this year. We will be making the following this week:
Sugar cookies - the kids will be making these and using cookie cutters. My 3 year old loves to roll the dough and cut out cookies. She is a great helper.
Snickerdoodles
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffles
Chocolate and Vanilla covered pretzels
Home made bread
Christmas Morning Pancake mixes for gifts in a jar
My son doesn't know this yet but we will be taking this week off from home schooling so we can spend time together as a family, making our gifts, and visiting others. He will be excited.
