Food Irradiation

Y'know, what the food irradiation issue really made me think about was corporate food supply. And why that's bad all around. When I drive to the city, I often pass a deserted dairy barn just north of the city limits. That barn used to supply milk to the city. But laws changed and practices changed, and the homestead is abandoned now.

At the same time, Dave can recall visiting dairies that should not have been allowed into the human food chain - he said the milk was so dirty, you'd be drinking half - well, you know. That's an exception to the rule, but the fact is that they were shipping milk to the large dairies, and it went from there to the stores....
