New Honey Farm website is up and running!

Yes, I actually have a honey farm post in the middle of winter!
Well, I stayed up way too late last night getting this thing going, and we now have a nice little resource for learning about beekeeping - and even finding the farm! We have a Google map on our "How to get honey from us" page, if you ever wondered where in the world we really are.
So, you can get to the thing two ways:
(1) Go to www.lazycreek.net and click on the Honey Farm stuff - this mainpage is a portal to four different sites. It will also give you the other stuff I've been putting up, including a site for Christian unschooling.
(2) Go straight to the honey farm at www.honeyfarm.lazycreek.net. This is our new web address for the honey farm.
I hope to keep putting up links to various "how to keep bees" type things, whether stuff on this blog or new articles on the site (of which I already have several). With any luck, it won't just be for those who want bees, but those whose are interested in them or studying about them in their homeschool.
Note: The faded-out bees in the sidebar background are actually our honeybees, featuring in a special appearance!
Hmmm...

....now Ii know what Canadians do while being snowed in....they catch up on all the technology that might languish in the warmer months!
As for us down here in the South, I planted potatoes on Friday. Can you believe it? It's been so warm, and I've never planted potatoes before, I just decided to go ahead and take the jump.
So you get yourself all organized and looking professional, and I'll keep waiting on winter to arrive....
