Ranger is our dog.  We all like playing with him.  He is a Weimaraner.

One time my dad took my brother Kyle on his first hunt.  They took Ranger, too.  When they got back, Kyle said he did not get anything, but he had fun anyway.  My dad got two pheasants, a male and a female.  We took a picture of them.  Then we gutted them.

It was a good hunt, even if Kyle didn't get anything.

Hi!  I'm Kaitlyn!  I am nine years old, and we have a Great Pyr.  She is a girl dog.  Do you know those dogs?  A Great Pyr is a livestock guardian dog.  She is going to guard the animals and keep them inside the fence.  And by the way, her name is Angel.  She is soooo cute!

But she likes me the best, and I just love her.  And I suppose you will too!

We've got 2 pigs and one's a boy and one's a girl.  The boy is pink and the girl is black and white.  Their names are Wilbur and Charlotte.  We got those two names from Charlotte's Web. 

Usually when we go to feed Charlotte she starts roaring and getting aggressive and guarding the pen.  So we have to climb in and pour the food into her bowl really fast.  Sometimes Charlotte tries to eat too quick and food gets dumped on her head.  Charlotte seemed like she would be nice at first, but she turned out to be a pig who is mean and loud. 

But Wilbur is not like that.  He is a quiet and scared little pig.  And when I try to touch him he runs and squeals, but I touch him anyway.  Wilbur is very cute but not very fun or playful.  Charlotte is more fun because when we go in she runs toward us and we have to get out of her way.

We used to play a game where we would chase the pigs and corner them.  Sometimes they would get out of the corner and run away and we would have to catch them and guard them again with brooms and other sticks.  It was real fun, but we had to stop playing it because our dad said we were scaring the pigs and stressing them out.
