A Heart For Home

Trusting in The Lord for ALL of My Needs!

Good afternoon Family & Friends! It is another dry say here in NC. We thought that we were going to get some storms yesterday. They just seemed to fizzle out though. We are still praying for rain though and know that The Lord will provide in His time.

I went to the dentist yesterday and had a tooth taken out. I am so glad that it is gone! The dentist said they could save it for about $2100. We don't have dental insurance so I opted to have it taken out. At least the pain is gone!

Hubby is worried about his job situation. They may be putting him down to a regular 40 hour week starting in 2-3 weeks. (It's his over time that allows me to stay home and care for the kids and home.) We are just praying that it doesn't get to that point. This is the first time in the 20 years he has been there that they don't have any work to do in the summer (his busiest time of the year.)

It makes me wonder about our future and the need for some possiable changes in our lives. As always though, I will put my faith in The Lord and trust that He knows what His plans are for my family. He provided for my extraction yesterday! And we had no idea where that money was going to come from. (The Lord knew all the time.) Praise God for His goodness always!

You know, at times like these when we aren't sure where or how we are going to be able to make it financially, it is then that we turn to our Lord more. Maybe that's why we struggle so with money and having to make due, never knowing where its going to come from. Yet always having to lean on The Lord, our provider and sustainer to take care of our "needs" and NOT wants. I know that it keeps me very close to Him. It absolutely amazes me how He is always right on time when I don't know where it is going to come from. Just like The Lord feeding and taking care of the widow and Elijah. (Take no thought for tomorrow, for the morrow will take care of itself.)

To God be the glory ALWAYS!
