I went for a walk today
For some that may not seem like a big deal but thanks to my health lately it has been a struggle for me to walk from one room to the other inside the house.
Well I have been staring at these daisies and black eyed susans long enough. I was determined to go out and pick them. Soooo I grabbed my little flower basket (and my inhaler) and put on my shoes and went outside. When I reached the flowers, to my dismay, they were all wiltted and covered in bugs and surrounded by thorny bushes. 
So instead of picking them I decided to photograph them. Here is what I came up with.. 
I added the frame to this one using photobucket. 
Here are some blackberries almost ready for the pickin.

then I spied the brightest lil red lady bug I have ever seen. She was BIG and Bright! Then there were these homey looking beetles flying EVERYWHERE. Ewwwww 
Well that was the extent of my walk. A short one but a walk none the less. Thank you Lord for giving me the strength to enjoy your creation today. I pray that you will continue to make me stronger and stronger each day.

Ohhh, walks are very nice... and very special. I understand your excitement. With my mom being bed-bound, I am very seldom able to go anywhere, even outside, so I appreciate the fresh air and sunshine too when I am able. There are lessons in life for us to learn and the appreciation of the simple things is one of them. You and I share in that appreciation.
