Thanks to you, 2006 has been a year of powerful advances for people and the planet and an extraordinary year for Co-op America. In a year that saw green going mainstream (magazines like Elle, Newsweek, and Vanity Fair all published their first-ever "green" issues this year), together we ramped up our efforts to tackle the climate crisis, moved even more investor dollars into underserved communities through our community investing program, and began work on launching a new Green Festival in Chicago in 2007. Check out our year-end report now online to learn more about all of the reasons to celebrate our work together in 2006 -- and to take a look forward to our plans for 2007. And check out our newest online program – Green Festival Radio. We're recording all of the talks at the Green Festivals and putting them online for you. Check out the thought-leaders, inspiration, and new ideas for going green that come up at our Green Festivals. It's great to be working with you. Here's to a greener, more sustainable New Year, P.S. It's not too late to make your year-end donation to Co-op America, get a 2006 tax deduction, and best of all, double the power of your donation! All gifts we receive by midnight Pacific time on December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by our Year-End Membership Challenge Fund. Thank you! Action: Listen to Green Festival Radio Online
If you weren't able to attend our Green Festivals in DC and San Francsico this year, or if you attended but just couldn't catch all the speakers, you can listen to all of the 2006 speakers at our recently launched Green Festival Radio. Pulling together audio from both Green Festivals – Co-op America's joint program with Global Exchange – Green Festival Radio is a great way to enjoy a few quiet hours of your winter vacation learning about what's working in the green economy. Listen to David Suzuki sharing his bright vision of a more sustainable future, Alice Walker discussing the next wave of peace activism, Alisa Gravitz on climate solutions, and much more. It's all free, so tune in today, or forward this e-mail to your friends to spread the word about the Green Festivals and all things green. Resources: Advancing Justice and Sustainability
