No Cooking

What a wonderful weekend it was...I did not have to think about evening meals this weekend....my weekend started out with taking my kids and Audrey's daughter to visit a Christmas gift store...each year the owner offers a day where kids from the community can come and decorate cookies, make crafts, have hot chocolate and popcorn while staying warm by a roaring outdoor bonfire and a visit with Santa Claus.

Then in the evening we went to dinner at my BIL and SIL's house where we had wonderful homemade soup and buns...and cherry cobbler and ice-cream for dessert.  It was great!

Sunday morning we had the most amazing service at church...I'm still pondering everything that was said and trying to put my life into the sermon....truly an amazing morning.  Then we headed to our friends who have a daughter from Thailand... it's great for Daniel to be surrounded by other Thai children...everyone played so well together and we had a wonderful lunch and visit with friends.

So that is the reason I didn't have to cook...yes, there is breakfast and lunch, but not having to think about "what am I making for dinnner", it was a very relaxing and restful weekend...not to mention that the sun was shining...the house was clean...laundry and ironing all caught up.  What more could I ask for?  Nothing...God is so good!

Hi, Auntie Connie
It was great to see you at uncle H.'s place. I absolutely agree to that we had a great meal. Something that I had noticed was that you seemed extra ordinarily vibrant, energetic, happy, cheerful,.....what other words are there to describe you!!! You seemed you had a full of life and the Spirit.
I wish that is some thing of contageous.
You have a great week and God bless you.
hugs
grace
