They are both something I love...this box of chocolate I purchased with a gift card that I received from my Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Gary for my birthday.  My aunt has had serious medical issues and so has my uncle, but they still found the time to send me a gift card and spoil me.  The actual gift card was for Laura Secord Chocolate, but we don't have LS here on the West Coast.  So when they came for our daughters wedding, we made an exchange....now the boxed is tucked safely away in a secret hiding place (notice there is none missing "yet"?)

And Family...well that is the unltimate joy of my life (next to knowing God)....I am blessed. I know there are days when life is tough and we get tired and our patience runs a bit thin, but there is no place I would rather be than at home with my children and husband. It truly is the highest calling.

Here are some of our blessings watching the Olympics....and their sister came over for a visit....how can you tell they miss her? And she wonders what the big deal is....but secretly and deep down she loves it when she arrives and everyone goes running to the door and yells her name.

Canada MUST have won a medal with that kind of smile.

Ethan chewing his toenails....YUK!!!! (our maybe just jealous because I couldn't even fit my toe to my lips if I tried---not that I've tried lately)  We did point out to him that there are no health benefits to toenail chewing.
