I've been thumbing through my old Countryside and Backwoods Home magazines, looking for the occasional articles that mention making money from home/homestead.

Is anyone else here making some money from home or homestead to supplement the family income?

We sell eggs currently, but hopefully will be branching out in a major fashion this summer, selling organic veggies, honey, and eggs at a local farmer's market. (We raise registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, so we make a wee bit on the sales of kids after the cost of dehorning and registration,etc.)

I've made a little money selling eggs, wheat, etc. I also found a neat little home business making really pretty crosses. Check out www.disciplescross.com.
These REALLY sell well at Farmer's Markets, craft fairs, etc., especially to kids and teenagers.

Mine may not count, but I raise German Angora rabbits and sell bunnies, fiber, yarn (millspun and handspun) and finished items. Works out to about half my income each year.
